Ronelle SlabbertHello, my name is Ronelle, and I’m a speech-language therapist working mostly with children. I graduated with a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Therapy from the University of Stellenbosch.

My journey in speech-language therapy began at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, where I had the privilege of working with children who had a wide range of developmental and communication difficulties, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD/ADD, and other syndromes and developmental disorders.

Since 2013, I have been practicing in the Paarl and Stellenbosch areas, and I feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to help individuals in my community. For me, speech and language therapy is not just a profession but a genuine passion, and I am constantly striving to improve my skills to provide the best possible care to my clients.

Seeing positive progress in my clients is what makes my work so fulfilling. It’s incredibly rewarding to be actively involved in the habilitation and rehabilitation of communication skills and to see individuals achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

I strongly believe in a team approach to therapy and enjoy working closely with other professionals, including occupational therapists, doctors, psychologists, teachers, and more. I also believe that parents play an integral role in the intervention process and encourage them to take an active role in their child’s therapy.
